The stakes have never been higher for Nebraska
Nebraska is at an inflection point.
We can either live up to our best selves or continue to fall.
Across Nebraska and this country, the direction we’re heading is impossible to ignore. Kristi Noem and an out-of-control ICE are terrorizing immigrant families and have shown contempt for basic human decency. Donald Trump is systematically undoing our democracy’s safeguards. In the Nebraska legislature we are one vote away from a total abortion ban. The basic promise that the government should protect our freedoms and treat people with dignity feels further and further away.
Instead, years of chaos, corruption, and the influence of big money have rigged the system even more against ordinary people. Powerful interests and big corporations keep gaining ground while working families are left to carry the burden. Medicaid is getting gutted, while the people making decisions are too rich and comfortable to care. Nebraskans deserve leaders who respect the rule of law and who will fight like hell for the people they represent.
